A quiet evening by the ocean
Just the two of us
As I sit alone, her reflection on the water keeps me company
Her colors, dancing in the tidal pull
Illuminating intentions, my mindful heart
My offering
Gratitude
The only seeds I wish to grow
Harvest Moon
Guiding with her evening glow

Hi! I loved your poem!
September’s theme over at my blog Between the Lines is ‘Harvest Moon’. On Saturdays, we feature works matching the theme by other writers and artists and I was wondering if I could reblog this.

That is lovely that you are doing that:) That is very flattering, thank you. You are most welcome to share.

No problem! As a writer myself, I know how hard it is to get your work noticed so I figured why not help out as much as I can. All for one and one for all and all that. 😉
Thank you! Here’s the link if you want to check it out: http://bit.ly/2h7nrJW

Reblogged this on Between the Lines and commented:
Today’s features all revolve around poetry. This one by Alisa Hutton is the first. Reading this, I really felt I was sitting on the sand gazing out over the moonlit ocean.
This month’s theme is Harvest Moon. If you’d like a chance for your work to be featured, let us know!
