Desert Flower

desert flower

She does not aim for perfection, her soul knows it only exist in its absence

Aspirations are not that of societal fairy tales

Her story is written in held spaces

Wrapping her heart in silk

Grounding her remembered past on the itch of the burlap floors

Sitting by the ocean her eyes will teach you of her tides

The calm and the storm

Listen with care as she speaks of the moon that guides the richness of her flow

Find her in her quiet on warm sunny day

As the sun shines on her face you will see her worries effortlessly floating away

Bliss is not something she bought at the store or withdrew from a teller

She is fire and water, swift currents on silent nights

She is unexpected passion and intuitively right

Exquisitely blooming in the harshness of authentic strife

A desert flower

She is beautiful for life
